The fourth call for the presentation of joint Eureka proposals between Spanish and French companies has been opened

The Centre for Industrial Technological Development, E.P.E. (CDTI), an entity belonging to the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, and Bpifrance (the French public investment bank), have reached an agreement with the aim of publishing the fourth joint call for proposals under the Eureka programme, in which both bodies are national managing agencies.

Eureka is an intergovernmental initiative that supports cooperative R+D+i at European level. Its aim is to boost the competitiveness of European companies by promoting technological projects aimed at developing products, processes and/or services with a clear commercial interest in the international market and based on innovative technologies.

Procedure for the presentation of projects

The international procedure is a single phase. The presentation of Eureka proposals: The Spanish participants of a consortium project with partners from France, will have to register the Eureka application through the CDTI website ( In this application, in addition to the web form, they must include the signed application form and a draft consortium agreement. The first cut-off date for submitting the formal application to CDTI ends on 10 April 2019.

There will be a second proposal submission window ending October 2019.

The financing of the projects in Spain will be done through the instruments available in CDTI for R&D projects in international collaboration.
