RED.ES CALL FOR DIGITAL PROJECTS
The Public Entity 'Red.es' has approved the regulatory bases for the competitive calls of grants, aimed towards private companies, for the implementation of projects in 2 programs:
– Aid program for the development of technology offers based on digital enabling technologies.
Aimed towards projects with a TRL of 7 or 8 that focuses on activities of development and functional improvement in digital enabling technologies: Internet of Things (IoT), 5G technologies, massive data processing technologies (Open/Linked/Big Data), high performance computing, cloud computing, natural language processing, cybersecutity, biometry and digital identification, Blockchain, robotics, artificial intelligence (machine learning, deep learning, neural networks), virtual and augmented reality, special effects and simulations, micro/nanoelectronics, 3D Printing-Additive manufacturing. Other kinds (or exceptions) of digital enabling technologies might be included in each call.
Additionally, proposals must be included in one or various of the following types of actions:
1. Actions for the functional development of its product or technological solution.
2. Development actions directed towards the validation, certification and implementation of prototypes.
3. Actions directed towards the adaptation and availability of necessary data for the proposed solution.
The budget for the projects will cover between 150,000 € y 3,000,000 € of direct and indirect costs related to the project, with a maximum aid intensity depending on the type of enterprise (45% for small enterprises, 35% for medium enterprises and 25% for not SMEs). The aids comprised in this program must have an incentive effect and won't be compatible with other aids or grants.
– Aid program for the innovative development of digital content.
Aimed towards projects of experimental development of technologies that can be applied to the digital content industry, as well as the creation of such content: availability of data on a massive and reusable scale, videogames, digital animation, music, movies and videos, audiovisual content, digital publications, digital publicity, social networks and mobile applications. Other kinds (or exceptions) of digital content might be included in each call.
The budget for the projects will cover between 150,000 € y 2,000,000 € of direct and indirect costs related to the project, with a maximum aid intensity depending on the type of enterprise (45% for small enterprises, 35% for medium enterprises and 25% for not SMEs). The aids comprised in this program must have an incentive effect and won't be compatible with other aids or grants.
