Proint Projecten International

On January 6^th 2020 this european initiative, cofunded by the Horizon 2020 programme for the development of international research and innovation projects in maritime technologies, published its call for proposals for 2020 with a total budget of 13 million euros allocated towards 5 priority areas:

–        Environmentally friendly maritime technologies.

–        Innovative concepts for ships and offshore structures.

–        Automation, sensors, monitoring and observations.

–        Advanced manufacturing and production.

–        Safety and security.

Proposals must be presented by a consortium formed by enterprises from 2 or more of the following countries: Belarus, Belgium, France, Germany, Malta, Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain, South Africa and Turkey.

Grants will cover the following costs: tools and equipment (during the period where they get used for the project), staff, contractual research, general costs and other additional explotation and indirect costs.

The call will have two steps, the first one for pre-proposals and the second one for full proposals. Submission of pre-proposals will be closed on March 27^th of 2020. Besides, a brokerage event will take place on the 12^th of February to promote the search for partners.
