The sixth Spain – India Call in biotechnology is open

Within the Cooperation Programme signed between the CDTI and the Indian Department of Biotechnology (DBT) to fund future projects of technological cooperation and R&D on the field of biotechnology, the sixth joint call for the application of proposals in biotechnology was published on the 12th of December of 2019.

The proposed project must be aimed towards the development or significant improvement of an innovative product, process or service with a market orientation towards all fields of biotechnology: sanitary biotechnology, industrial biotechnology, nanobiotechnology, agrobiotechnology (including biofuels and bioenergy), biocomputing and biomedic engineering.

It must have the participation of at least a spanish partner (an enterprise that, optionally, can outsource the services of other research institutions) and an indian partner (enterprise or research institution), with a well-balanced distribution of technical and financial resources and a fair return of benefits for all members (no partner will have more than 70% of all budget).

Partners must simultaneously submit their application and their Consortium Agreement to the CDTI and the DBT before the international application phase deadline arrives (27th of March of 2020). Afterwards there will be a funding phase.
